Parole Board meetings are held two to three times weekly usually between Tuesday and Thursday.

The Board can sit either as:

  • a full Board (minimum of four members)
  • a division of the Board comprising three members including the Presiding Member or a Deputy Presiding Member as Chairperson.

The Board conducts most of its business at a meeting room in the Adelaide CBD.

Interviews with prisoners and parolees are held either in person, or by audio visual link if approved by the Presiding Member of the Board.

Prisoners and parolees are entitled to legal representation and/or other professional support should they so request.

Parole Board hearings are not open to the general public.
