William (Bill) Boucaut KC was admitted to the Bar in South Australia in 1975. He has practised predominately in the area of Criminal Law and has appeared in courts throughout Australia.

He joined the Independent Bar in 1991 having spent eight years as a prosecutor in Hong Kong.

He was appointed Queens Counsel in 2010 and joined the Parole Board as a Deputy Presiding Member in December 2022.
